The Breathe Crisis Response service is your protection in times of need! With just the push of a button on your Breathe App, you’ll get straight through to us. Simple, convenient, and saving you time in emergency life-threatening situations. We have direct partnerships with all the major response services, and our experienced and skilled consultants will do all they can to help you during an ordeal.

Yes. You don’t need a vehicle to use Breathe. This service is available to you even if you are out exercising and feel at risk, or if you are a passenger in a private vehicle.

No you won’t. Our Breathe services are available almost anywhere within the borders of South Africa. We do ask that you let us know if you change your residential address and to keep your personal details up to date, so we can help you as efficiently as possible, when you need it.

You can contact us via your Breathe app, USSD code (*120*880*72544#) or call us on 087 350 3237.

The team will attempt to contact you 3 times from the contact centre. We also attempt to communicate with your next of kin if these details has been provided. If we are still unable to contact you, we will send an SMS to your number notifying you we have been trying you contact you and to activate the panic alert again if help is required.

We are not affiliated with any specific company, but we have a wide network of providers with whom we work. This means we do not rely only on one individual company to assist with responses to a crisis or emergency.

All services are dispatched based on the plan and services to which you are subscribed. However, if you require services that are not included in your package, we will still assist you either with solutions that require additional payment, or by using relevant government services.

The Breathe Guard is not intended for use at your private residence or at commercial or business facility.

You will need a smartphone for the app but we also have a USSD option for non-smartphones.

The Breathe Crisis Response app is exclusively available to clients of our Approved Brokers and Financial Advisors.

Call our Crisis Centre number on 0861 44 44 42. To use the panic alert USSD function, you will need to dial the panic number *120*880*72544# from the cell phone number we have registered for you. Note: you cannot use another number to send a panic alert.

The Breathe app service uses data from your phone in order to function. This means that even if you have a phone contract, which includes airtime, you will still need to have data available on that phone to use the app.

Yes, it is important that you call us to update your contact details, as this service is linked to your cellphone number.
